- Help the Visually Impaired
AGAL FOUNDATION
Agal foundation trust is a purely non-profit organisation describing its good and mission for the visually impaired students and adults. The organisation has been in existence from the 19th of November 2016.
Agal foundation provides services to the visually impaired across Tamilnadu support in sports, education, medical aid, scribing etc., have been rendered as priority services to the visually impaired. Services like providing food, cloths, books & stationary have also been taken up by the Agal.
More than 5000 students have benefited from the various activities of help rendered by Agal. Agal foundation has the support of more than 1000 volunteers across Tamilnadu who are selfless in rendering their valuable services to the visually challenged.
The founder Mrs. Ambiga Raj is a women with great compassion who has a vision in bringing light in to the lives of visually impaired people. She has the support of all the volunteers who unanimously share the same vision with her that’s what makes Agal foundation so unique.

For Visually Impaired Students
The aim of Agal foundation is to provide services in the field of education, employment training in various skills like music, doll making, agarbathi making etc.
It conducts and aims to conduct more motivational classes, soft skills and life-skills classes for the visually impaired. For this Agal requires the help of volunteers who have expertise in the various fields. The humungous support and help of all the volunteers will be well appreciated and thanked for.
