Agal foundation had conducted a sports day celebration for the visually impaired students. Students had participated with great enthusiasm and grit. Students came from across Tamilnadu for the sports day. Many events like long jump, short put and running etc were held. It was overwhelming to see the enthusiasm with which the students had participated.

Prizes were given to all the winners. Food and transportation cost was born by Agal. It was a great experience for Agal and again Agal’s volunteers did a great job in organising such a mega event. Kudos to them! Agal renders help to those who are good in sports by giving them shoes, uniforms, sport equipment etc. Many of the visually impaired sportsmen have improved their skills because of their encouragement and help by Agal and have represented the National blind sports teams and have won many laurels in various sports like football, cricket, judo, karate etc.
