The founder, is a self motivated, adaptable, service oriented, multi talented, social activist involved in improving the quality of life of the visually challlenged students. This service is rendered sincerely for the past 5 years and will be done in years to come.

Hailing from a very humble family from tanjavur, I Ambika Raj came to chennai after my marriage with Mr. Raj. I am blessed with a daughter. The sucess of Agal Foundation trust for the visually challeged can be well dedicated to my husband and my daughter. Thanks to all my dear volunteers across Tamilnadu who stand as the strong pillars of foundation.

The foundation offers various services like scribing, audio notes, regarding and reading. We have volunteers to help the visually challenged students in their project works for various courses like B.ed, D.ed etc.

The Agal Foundation Trust has many admins to handle the scribing, reading, recording needs of the students. This is done by the diligent volunteers of Agal which is very very commendable.

I am so happy to spear head the Agal Foundation Trust and ensure that my mission and vision to serve the visually challenged students spreads more and more across Tamilnadu. I would like to expand the services to the VC students all across India too and my power of belief will surely make it happen in a few years time. This is said with utmost faith in and gratitude to all volunteers.

Our volunteers are the backbone of our trust. We also provide our services in education development, provide financial support to economically weak visually challenged students, job assistance etc. Our Agal Volunteers help out visually challenged students for various exams like the TNPSC, UPSC, UGC, B.ed, NET, SLET etc.

Agal Foundation Trust welcomes more new volunteers and their dedicated services, the better and best it will be for the students.
