MEDICAL CAMPS & ASSISTANCE

Agal foundation has conducted three medical camps.

In 2017, Agal had collaborated with Sankara Nethralaya. This was an eye donation camp conducted in the month of April. The Main aim of the camp was to create an awareness about the importance of eye donation. More than a hundred number of people (VI) were benefitted from this camp.

Agal foundation trust organised a blood screening test camp in of March 2018 to test the blood groups of the students at the blind school at Mambalam, Thanjavur Tamilnadu. This is a prominent Govt.  blind school in Thanjavur.

Agal foundation trust collaborated with the SRM Dental College at Ramapuram in Chennai and had organised a free dental health check-up camp for more than 102 visually impaired students. The volunteers who helped us during these medial camps are thoroughly appreciated for their fantastic efforts in making the medical camps very useful for the visually challenged.
